SETTIMANA INTERNAZIONALE COPPI E BARTALI
Third race of the Ciclismo Cup for the team Wilier Triestina – Selle Italia that wishes to go back on top of the classification at the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali.
Five stages in four days including the new final time trial with the climb of Montegibbio for the team directed by Luca Scinto and Serge Parsani that have selected a very similar team to one that has raced the last two italian races, Tirreno – Adriatico and Milano – Sanremo.
All eyes on Jakub Mareczko, winner in Crevalcore in 2016, and on Filippo Pozzato that will be important in the team time trial of the first day and on the hilly stages of this race organized by GS Emilia.
The riders that will aim for the GC will be Matteo Busato, 7th in 2016 and very close to his first pro win in two stages of last year, and Edoardo Zardini that has shown a good condition in the last races.
Together with them Alex Turrin, that has done well at the Tour de Taiwan, and Jacopo Mosca that in the last weeks has spent more time in the breakaways that in the peloton. The line up is completed by Marco Coledan, a key rider in support of Jakub Mareczko.
