GIRO D’ITALIA: BUSATO AND KOSHEVOY, DOUBLE TOP 10

The Wilier Triestina – Selle Italia was among the best teams in the 19th stage of the Giro d’Italia with finish line in Piancavallo, the last uphill finish of this Corsa Rosa.

After a very fast start Ilia Koshevoy entered in a 14 men breakaway that looked to be left out by the Maglia Rosa bunch but after an acceleration of the peloton the attempt was over with 95 kms to go.

Once that the breakawat was caught, a new attack of 16 riders saw involved Matteo Busato and again Ilia Koshevoy that started the last climb with almost 10′ of gap on the chasers.

Both of our riders weren’t able to follow the rhytm of Mikel Landa but the 8th place of Matteo Busato and the 10th place Ilia Koshevoy say it all about the quality of the performances in a high levelled Giro d’Italia.

Tomorrow from Pordenone to Asiago last mountain stage before the long transfer to Milano.
