Good performance by the team Wilier Triestina – Selle Italia in the 4th stage of the Dubai Tour that was ending on the hard climb of Hatta Dam.
The riders of Luca Scinto and Luca Amoriello were able to join the breakaway once again with Simone Bevilacqua.
The route didn’t suite our young veneto talent who was left behind with 40 kms to go by the last survivors of the original attempt Brandon Mc Nulty, Robin Carpenter and Conor Dunne.
Mc Nulty was the last man standing but his adventure ended with 200 metres to go when he was caught by a selected bunch of riders with Sonny Colbrelli as the fastest men in the end.
In this small group there was also Filippo Pozzato who was able to end in 15th place catching up in the general classification where he sits now in 13th place.
Tomorrow big ending in Dubai with a totally flat stage where we hope for a good performance by Jakub Mareczko
